THIS COURSE IS FREE FOR A LIMITED TIME WHILE UNDER DEVELOPMENT
Learn how to be more effective using LINQ in your C# game projects by solving some fun and challenging problems. We walk through several common patterns and explore how to solve them using best practices for C# developers. Included are several assignments that you are encouraged to attempt before watching the answer.
If you know C# at least a little bit (course doesn't cover beginning C#), LINQ will make your code more readable, and easier to maintain in the future.
When used properly LINQ makes the intent of your code much more easily understood.
Expected Completion Date
I expect to have this course 100% complete by the end of October 2017. All of the code is complete, and I have some more samples that I am working on when I have time. The recording of the lectures, editing, and then uploading is the long part of this process. I have a lot recorded already that are just taking a long time to edit.
I am a lifelong geek who builds and teaches about app development in my free time. I contribute to open source projects as on Github, and am a frequent speaker at Code Camps and developer events.
I work for Microsoft (located in Redmond, WA), and teach at an after hours app club. I enjoy working with other developers who are building passion projects.
I have been building software professionally for about 20 years. I have worked on multiple engineering team inside Microsoft, and had my own companies prior to joining in 2010.
I started learning programming to make games on my Commodore 64! Since then I have built shareware, BBS doors, and a few commercial AAA game titles. These days I build and teach mobile development as a hobby.
Thank you for looking at this course. During the development time the course is free. After the course is complete I will be charging for this course. If you get in during the free period you get to keep the course after it becomes a paid course.
